Enhancing Creative Expression Through Underglaze Techniques

My students are creating the sweetest work! Thank you so much for donating to our program, which allowed us to purchase new underglazes. Before this, we only had a limited selection of old, gloopy colors. Now, with a full range—including the much-loved pink—the students are thrilled.

I've attached a few photos of their work so far. Ceramics 1 students are using black and white underglazes to illustrate dishes made with molds, and they'll also be using them on the coil pots they're currently making. Ceramics 2 students are working on larger plates and will continue using underglazes in every project this semester.
