I am fortunate enough to teach 7th and 8th grade at a K-8 school which consists of Title I students. I am constantly floored by the abilities and insights all of my children have and how the life experiences of these lower socioeconomic students has given them wisdom beyond their years. The amazing children in my classroom have so much potential while struggling to overcome odds many of their peers will never encounter. Having a very diverse class has created a need for me to foster the development of community and the appreciation of our differences.
