  • Whiteboards and markers and whole group learning Oh My!

    THANK YOU for donating to our classroom!! The supplies have helped to enhance many of our math lessons as well as lessons in other domains. The students use their whiteboards and markers at the beginning of our math lessons most days. We begin our lessons with a very informal formative assessment. I ask students questions while they go on their white boards and answer them. This is a quick and easy way to take a look at what students are grasping or what they might be struggling with. This alone has helped to tailor lessons more towards what students might need. Lessons can be paused, repeated, or changed based on student needs, which was much more difficult before. It is with the most full heart that I thank my donors and those who helped to fund this project. We will never forget it!!!”

    THANK YOU, thank you, thank you for donating to our classroom!! Book bins in our classroom library will help the students to develop a better love for reading and for exploring the classroom library. When we organized our library all together, the students were able to organize the books by category, but they commented on how the books aren't actually grouped by the actual book title. This organization will help the students foster a deeper love and appreciation for our classroom library and all of the literature within it.”
