Help me give my students the resources they need to succeed. I teach ELA and I have over 40 students who don't speak English. This project will help them learn the same as those who speak English.

Diverse Books for Diverse Kids
Help me give my students the books that they can connect with the most. I have a heavily diverse group of kids who deserve books with characters that look like them and think like them.
Thank you so much for helping support the growth of my classroom! My students are super excited to get a new set of books in the room. Especially my super readers who have gone thru many of the books already on my shelf! As a new teacher, my starting number of books was lower than needed for a new classroom. But my students held on with me by sharing books from their own homes and taking time for library visits until new books arrived. I was happy to see the amount of reading happening in my room! Now for the love of books to continue!!”
