Destress Tools and Water Bottles
Funded Sep 17, 2024Thank you so much for your contributions. Thanks to you, I was able to get each student their own reusable water bottle, give students clay to express themselves with different art mediums, and give students fidgets to release energy during class.
The water bottles were a huge hit! I had realized that most of my students didn't own a reusable water bottle. When I received this package, I used my cricut machine to make stickers with all of my students names on them. I put a student's name on each water bottle and gave them to my class. I also had stickers that I let them decorate their bottles with. They were so excited to have water bottles and now they no longer leave class to go to the water fountain.
The clay has multiple purposes. I have a student who has an IEP that says that he can play with clay or fidgets during class to help him concentrate. He uses it every day! Clay is his favorite! The other fidget toys have also made a great impact. I love the rubber bands for their chairs, and so do my students! They can quietly exert energy/fidget and stay focused on my instruction! All of the fidgets have increased engagement in my classroom.
Thank you again for your generosity. You have made my days smoother and brought joy to 32 fourth graders in Philadelphia.”

4th Grade Classroom Needs
Funded Sep 16, 2024Thank you so much for your contributions. Thanks to you, I was able to get a printer for my classroom, small group instruction materials, and candy to be used as a positive behavior incentive. The printer has helped me prepare for class, as our school's copier doesn't often work. It has also allowed me to print off worksheets during class for students that may have different needs. Some students have needed more challenges and some have needed additional practice. I can provide them with that as I see needed now!
The whiteboard erasers have been used every day during Mathematics small group instruction. Students have mini whiteboards and they use these erasers when practicing math concepts. They love using these manipulatives and are more engaged in math class!
The candy has also been a huge hit! Students receive candy for positive behaviors, for working hard, and for iReady practice! iReady is a website where students practice math at the level that they test in to. The majority of my students are behind grade level, so this website helps them with where they are at in hopes of bringing them up to grade level. If they pass a lesson with an 80% or greater, they get a piece of candy! This has already helped them improve their scores tremendously. Without your kindness, they wouldn't be as motivated to improve their test scores!
Thank you again for your generosity. You have made my days smoother and brought joy to 32 fourth graders in Philadelphia.”
