Snack-Fully Fueled and Ready to Learn!
Funded Jan 18, 2025I hope this message finds you well! I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contribution to our classroom project. Thanks to your support, we have been able to provide our students with a variety of snacks that are not only nutritious but also a much-needed boost of energy throughout the school day.
Since receiving the snacks, we've been able to incorporate them into our classroom in several meaningful ways. During one particular project, my students worked on a group presentation about healthy eating and nutrition. As part of the project, they had the opportunity to try different snacks, such as Frito Lay Variety Corn Chips, Goldfish Cheddar Cheese Crackers, and Sensible Portions Veggie Straws. This hands-on experience really helped them connect what they were learning about nutrition to real-world examples. The students were able to talk about the importance of balanced snacks and how they can be both delicious and healthy.
When the students first saw the snacks, their reactions were absolutely priceless! They were thrilled to see such a variety of options, and it was clear they felt excited to have something special in the classroom. The Capri Sun Juice and Welch's Fruit Snacks were particularly popular, and it was a joy to see their faces light up as they enjoyed them. It's amazing how something as simple as a snack can create such a positive and engaging moment in the classroom.
As we move forward, the students will continue to work on their nutrition project, where they will take what they've learned and create healthy snack recipes to share with the class. The snacks you've provided are not only helping fuel their learning but also inspiring creativity and teamwork as they collaborate on their presentations and recipe ideas.
Thank you once again for your generosity. Your support has made such a difference in our classroom, and I look forward to sharing more updates with you as the students continue to grow and learn with the resources you've made possible.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Angel Tejeda

Funded Jan 6, 2025I cannot thank you enough for your incredible support in providing new sensory and snack resources for my students. Your kindness has made a significant impact in our classroom, creating a more inclusive, engaging, and comforting environment for all.
When my students first saw the LED jellyfish lamp, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. Many of them immediately gravitated toward the calm corner, exploring the textures of the sensory items, crawling through the tunnels, and enjoying the soothing glow of the jellyfish lamp. For some, this space has become a safe haven to refocus and self-regulate throughout the day.
One particularly heartwarming moment was when a student who struggles with sensory overload found solace in the tent, using the stress balls and fidget toys to help manage emotions. It has been amazing to see students not only benefiting from these resources individually but also collaborating and supporting each other in their use.
In addition to sensory tools, the snack packs you helped provide have been a game changer! Many of my students rely on structured snack breaks to maintain focus and energy, and having a variety of options ensures that no one goes without. Whether it's a quick boost of energy before a lesson or a comforting treat during a break, these snacks have helped create a more welcoming and supportive learning environment.
Looking ahead, we plan to incorporate the sensory materials into structured learning activities. For example, the textured mats and sensory bins will be used in hands-on literacy and math stations to engage students in a multisensory approach to learning. We are also excited to introduce emotion-based activities using the Lakeshore Feelings & Emotions Dough Mats, helping students develop emotional awareness and communication skills.
Your generosity has given my students access to tools that not only support their academic growth but also nurture their emotional and sensory needs. We are so grateful for your kindness, and I look forward to sharing more about how these resources continue to shape our classroom experiences.”
With gratitude,
