  • Groovy Music Supplies!

    Thank you so much for your generous donations to our music room! This last project was very exciting for the students. We spent our last class using all of the new drums. The large gathering drum appears to be the class favorite! We now have enough drums that we were able to end 2024 with a fun classroom drum circle! I have noticed that all of the new instruments have given the students a much better outlet for self expression. Even the students that are more shy have found something they enjoy playing! It is so great to see them wanting to play everything when we unbox it and have been very excited.”

  • It's Chime Time! Lets Get A Hand Bell Set!

    I can not thank you enough for your continued generosity for our classroom needs. Since receiving the hand bell set from this donors choose we have been able to work on rehearsing with chimes and playing songs on pitched instruments more regularly and effectively. Students have expressed over and over that they have fun playing the chimes and have been enjoying coming to music class. They had also requested we use chimes more often after the holiday break! They are looking forward to presenting a song on the chimes for our end of the year performance.”

    Thank you again for your donation to our Music Room! Unboxing all of the new instruments was very exciting and the students had a blast trying everything out when they came in!

    Since getting the new instruments I have noticed a new interest in music in the students that I did not have before. They liked music class, but now it is so great to see how much fun they are having! Student's who were more distracted are more engaged, and the entire room feels included in music making. I have also seen a new found confidence in some of the more quiet students and an overall eagerness to learn from everyone in the classroom!

    Having these instruments has allowed me as their music teacher to continue to empower the students with different ways to be creative in my classroom!”
