I am a speech-language pathologist working with students who come from lower socioeconomic backgrounds and are predominantly Latino. Many of these students face significant speech and language challenges, in addition to being English language learners. Despite these obstacles, they approach each session with incredible enthusiasm and a strong desire to learn. The diversity of their backgrounds and the hurdles they overcome each day is truly inspiring, and their dedication to improving their communication skills is a testament to their resilience and eagerness to succeed.
