  • Diving Into Math!

    Class 4/5-412 of PS 254 sends their many thanks and gratitude for the materials received through your kindness. Our Vocabulary cards and many learning resources are well laminated for our daily use.

    The ten frame math manipulatives were the best when used in our small groups. Students spent more time learning since the counters were magnetic and could not fall to the floor. My students love them so much.

    My students cheered when I received the resources. They were all so happy and wanted me to open the box immediately. On seeing the contents, their response was "Wow, that's for us? Nice".

    My students in this self-contained class needs visual support, verbal prompts and manipulatives to help them work and solve many tasks. I am so happy that we were able to receive these resources that will change the lives of many.”

  • Color Reflects The True Picture

    "Color Reflects the True Picture" was such an appropriate title for my project. The Lexmark color printer I received from your generous donation added a great impact to my students overall performance. Colors really add to picture and do motivate them to look for details and dive into the task. I am so thankful for this addition to my class and my students are also very thankful for your help. Our Centers are nicely color coded to make it easier for students to access.

    My students are in a self -contained class and having images printed in true color is absolutely helpful to them. My neediest students were so happy to see their schedules in color and needed less help finding and relating to the details within.

    I've made up a weekly job list and cleaning the Technology Workstation is one of our task. I'm proud to say that my students take pleasure in doing a great job maintaining this area.
