• Calm Minds and Bodies

  I cannot express enough gratitude for your generosity in supporting our classroom. Thanks to your donations, we now have a variety of calming tools that have made a tremendous impact on our students' learning environment. From fidget tools to sensory items, these resources have provided students with much-needed ways to self-regulate, stay focused, and feel more comfortable in the classroom.

  When the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate! Many of them eagerly explored the different tools, and it was incredible to see how quickly they found what worked best for them. One student, who often struggles with anxiety, now reaches for a stress ball during independent work, helping them stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed. Another has found comfort in using a weighted lap pad during reading time, which has improved their ability to concentrate.

  Because of your kindness, my students now have the support they need to better manage their emotions and succeed in their learning. Moving forward, we will continue incorporating these tools into daily routines and helping students develop strategies for self-regulation. Your contribution has made a real difference, and I can't thank you enough for investing in our classroom community!”

• Colorful Classroom Makeover: Rug, Mailboxes & Printer Needed!

  I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contributions to our DonorsChoose project. Thanks to your support, our classroom has been transformed in ways that will have a lasting impact on our students' learning experience.

  With your help, we were able to acquire a color printer, which has already allowed us to bring lessons to life with vibrant, engaging materials. Whether it's colorful charts, creative worksheets, or student projects, the ability to print in color has made a significant difference in how we present and engage with learning content.

  The rug has provided a warm and inviting space for students to gather for group activities, storytime, and discussions. It's incredible how much a simple, cozy area can foster collaboration and create a sense of community in the classroom.

  Finally, the mailbox has given us an efficient and fun way to manage classroom communication. Students are excited to check for notes and assignments, and it's become a wonderful tool to teach organization and responsibility.
