Soccer for Mental Health

Thank you so much for helping our students find a new passion. Thanks to your donation, our team was able to secure the equipment that we needed to ensure that our students are not missing any equipment that they could require to practice. Having extra soccer balls and cones ensured that students could practice on their own. While our team is small, we are now have enough pennies for everyone to use as we run small scrimmages with one another.

Outside of the pitch students worked on their interpersonal skills especially since we are working on building our team. This came instances of frustration, and disappointment, however, thanks to their consistent routine students were able to see growth in themselves and learned how to keep their reactions to draw backs in check.”
