  • Sensory World

    Funded Jan 16, 2025

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom. Having a community that will never let us down is very comforting for not only teachers but our students as well.

In this order a big focus for us was sensory items. Many students who come to school have sensory issue and cannot function properly in school. Often they can not still and focus.

Having items such a seat cushions, bouncy rubber bands for the bottoms of their chairs, as well as sensory scratch bars at their desk offer kids a relief when they are feeling anxious in class. Having these items gives them the ability to focus and learn to the best of their ability.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Latona

  • Hungry Minds Need Fuel

    Funded Feb 26, 2025

Thank you so much for the snacks that were donated to our classroom. As you know many children do not have enough food to eat. Knowing that students have snacks on hand not only to eat during snack time but to have whenever they feel hungry is a huge gift.

The students were so excited at the variety of snacks that they had. They reported feeling happier, less tired and more motivated to learn after they had a snack.

They expressed what it means to their bodies to be able to fuel them.

From the bottom of our heard we thatnk you for your generosity.”

    With gratitude,

  • Learning Is Fun Games

    Funded Oct 16, 2024

These donated reading games have made learning so much fun.studeants now enjoy center time because they now get to play games.

Playing games makes student's feel like they are not learning. They are engaged and are learning so much.

We are seeing improvements in reading assessments because of all the reading center games students are playing.

We are able to do centers everyday and students never get tired of playing games. It is the first question they ask each day. When are we playing center games. We will be able to use these games year after year.”

    With gratitude,

  • An Organized Classroom is a Happy Classroom

    Funded Nov 4, 2024

Your organizational donations have emensely helped our students. We are using the organization bins in math class. These bins help the students find the worksheets they need for each lesson, independently.

When students are able to independently find there own materials gives them confidence and makes the class run smooth because students aren't constantly asking for help.

When a student has confidence it increases there ability to learn and engage in the learning process. We are so grateful for all the help we receive from your donations.”

  • Small Groups, Big Ideas

    Funded Sep 30, 2024

Your incredible donations have made learning so much easier for our students. They are more engaged and have a greater interest to learn. Each donation helps every single student in our class to have the necessary tools to help them learn. For that we thank you.

Our students enjoy waiting to see if it's their turn to sit at our new table and if it's their turn to sit in our specials seats

It is exciting for them and they look at it as a reward. This has made teaching small groups not only more comfortable for students but for the teacher's as well. It helps us stay more focused. Student's are excited to learn with all the new tools we have received.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Latona

  • Rolling Cart and Charging Port Station

    Funded Sep 10, 2024

Our first donors choose project was a rolling cart to store our ipads and chargers. Last year we didn't have a safe space for our ipads or enough chargers. This made using the ipads very difficult because all ipads weren't charged at the same time. This year we have a safe place to charge our ipads and enough chargers for the entire class. This has enabled students to be responsible for correctly putting their ipads on the rolling cart as well as charging them. Students have learned the importance of safely putting their ipads away and charging them. They know if they don't properly charge them they cannot use them the next day. Thank you for all help and support”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Latona
