Whiteboards and Markers

On behalf of my students, I want to offer a sincere thank you for your donation of whiteboards, markers, chart paper and pencils. When I revealed the new markers and boards, the students were so excited! Nothing is quite as thrilling as the the fresh tip on a brand new marker on a bright white, whiteboard!

We use the supplies everyday. The students enjoy doing their math on the whiteboards and showing their work. During indoor recess or short breaks, they like to draw, doodle, and create with the variety of colors! Pencils! So helpful to have a reserve of presharpened pencils so the work and learning can continue.

The chart paper offers a great way for students to refer back to previous learning and see examples of how to complete a task. Everyday, I notice students taking a look at the wall and feeling that moment of success when they realize they are on the right path.
