Speech & Language Therapy Materials
Funded Sep 3, 2024My students LOVE their new materials. The sensory tubes were a fan fave and play-dough as well. Often times, children don't get enough time to express how they're feeling. These toys also include features that prompt children to express themselves verbally, facilitating conversation and dialogue. Many social-emotional toys are designed to help children identify and articulate their feelings. This can enhance their vocabulary and ability to discuss emotions. Familiar and engaging toys can create a comfortable atmosphere, making it easier for children to participate in therapy without feeling overwhelmed.
These materials are not just used as fidgets but are also incorporated throughout therapy in a variety of ways. Brightly colored, interactive toys capture attention of the little ones and can make therapy sessions more enjoyable, leading to better participation and outcomes.”
With gratitude,
