Hands-On Science Adventures: Bringing 4th Grade Science to Life
Funded Dec 4, 2024Thanks to your generous contributions, our 4th-grade classroom has been transformed into a hub of discovery and exploration. With the hands-on science materials provided through this project, my students have been able to dive into exciting experiments and investigations that bring abstract concepts to life. From building circuits to understanding the water cycle, these activities have sparked curiosity and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Every lesson has become an opportunity to ask questions, explore solutions, and develop critical thinking skills that will serve them for years to come.
The excitement and engagement in our classroom are palpable. Students who once hesitated to participate are now confidently collaborating and sharing their insights. They are not only learning science but also experiencing the joy of discovery and the power of teamwork. This project has truly enriched their learning experience and inspired them to see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers. Your support has made a lasting difference, and my students and I are deeply grateful for your kindness and belief in their potential.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Kim

Funded Aug 30, 2024Hands-on science has a big impact on a 4th-grade classroom. It makes learning fun and exciting by letting students explore and experiment with real materials. Instead of just reading or listening, they get to see science in action, which helps them understand and remember it better.
It also helps students think and solve problems like scientists. They learn to ask questions, make guesses, and test their ideas. Working on experiments together teaches them teamwork and communication, helping them build important life skills. Hands-on science makes learning meaningful and inspires curiosity in every student.
Thank you so much for your generous support in bringing hands-on science to our classroom! Your kindness has made a huge difference, giving our students the chance to explore, experiment, and discover in ways that truly inspire them. Because of you, they are more curious, engaged, and excited about learning. We are so grateful for your help in sparking a love for science in our 4th graders!”

Mr. Kim

Funded Sep 17, 2024The impact of your generosity has been incredible! With the new whiteboards, my students now have fresh, interactive ways to learn and showcase their understanding. They are no longer limited to paper and pencil but can now actively display their problem-solving processes, collaborate with peers, and demonstrate their thinking in real time. This new tool has empowered them to take control of their learning, boosting both their confidence and creativity in the classroom.
Beyond just solving math problems, these whiteboards have given students the opportunity to create their own personal space to learn and shine. They love being able to show off their ideas, whether working individually or in groups, and take pride in their contributions to class discussions. The sense of ownership and excitement they now feel has brought a new energy to our learning environment, and we are deeply grateful for this amazing opportunity!”

Funded Sep 20, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation! Your support has helped bring meaningful and inspiring books into our classroom, offering my students valuable lessons about the immigrant experience. These stories are making a profound impact, teaching my students about the strength, courage, and resilience that immigrants demonstrate as they pursue their dreams in a new country.
Through these books, my students are learning that hard work, perseverance, and believing in themselves can help them overcome challenges, just like the characters they are reading about. These lessons are not only empowering my immigrant students but are also encouraging all of my students to appreciate the diversity of experiences and cultures that enrich our world.
We are incredibly grateful for your contribution. Your generosity is helping to create an inclusive and empathetic classroom environment, where students are inspired to dream big, work hard, and believe in their potential. Thank you for making a difference in their lives!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Kim
