  • Playground Balls For Our K-2 Kids At Recess!

    Thank you so much for donating these playground balls for my music students. You have provided a positive impact on our entire school through play.

    We have recess and didn't have balls to play with. Now, thanks to you, my kiddos have been enjoying playing basketball, four-square and soccer.

    It is a joy to see them so happy at recess.

    I want you to know that they are taking very good care of our new playground balls. They put them back in the same place whenever they are finished after recess.

  • Teaching Littles Positive Classroom Expectations Using Musical Cues

    Funded Sep 3, 2024

    Thank you for giving all 520 kids that I teach with each week and myself, this gift of music and time saving technology. Now, thanks to the Streamdeck, I can quickly press a button instead of searching for a website or tab on my menu bar. This device saves me time as a teacher but also provides auditory cues for my students.

    For example, teaching kids to line up safely, calmly and respectfully is now done when they hear the song associated with that expectation.

    I appreciate that Streamdeck has a variety of songs and sounds that provide diverse exposure to opportunities to self-regulate and achieve the classroom expectations as provided by a library of auditory choices and the taught behaviour expectations associated with those particular songs.

    As a music teacher this gift is helpful in teaching beat and rhythm along with tempo to my kindergarten, first grade and second grade students.”
