I have been teaching at my school for 11 years. I am continuously working year in and year out on creating a vibrant classroom with numerous hand-on learning experiences for children. I teach first grade. We have a heavy emphasis on literacy and put a great deal of energy into students leaving 1st grade with the ability to read at grade level independently, but I also value the arts, different forms of expression and creativity, and the opportunity to demonstrate one’s talents in various outlets. We don’t have lots of resources at my school to support all of educational opportunities I would like my students to be able to pursue. This is why I am joining this wonderful program, in hopes to find this support and advocate for my students the best that I am able.
Any help is MUCH appreciated!
Thank you,
Connor Broderick
