  • Back to School Night!

    Thank you so much for providing for the art students at River Oaks Elementary. The kids did not have a full time art teacher last year so I am doing everything I can to make this year great!

    They were excited to see the new materials in their table buckets and I heard whispers from the kids "these are nice" and "oh look at these!" I still get excited for a new box of crayons at 39 yr old so I know the kids loved seeing a fresh set in front of them.

    It is exciting to see them light up when they see their work hung up in the hallway. The photos are of a school unity project. Our mascot is the dolphin created by our 5th graders and the ocean scape by the lower grades. Sometimes the small things in life like a simple crayon, piece of chalk or colored pencil can really bring more joy than we imagine. Thank you all again for helping to make this year colorful.”
