Positivity Wheel of Fortune
Funded Nov 20, 2024Our positive referral has just begun! We were working hard to develop some postcards to be sent home to students and their families, and creating our referral system. Students have received their certificates and have started adding their names to the positive referral wall. Teachers and staff have noticed students do great work and we have noticed extra positivity as they receive their certificates.
While we have not spun the wheel of fortune yet, or drawn names of our students, we anticipate excitement and joy. We want to extend our gratitude to every single one of you. You helped make this happen and we are so excited to continue building this new initiative.
I want to extend a personal thank you. These kids deserve all the love and positivity! Your kindness will not go unnoticed and students will know. Thank you so much.
We will be mailing out postcards to parents and guardians so they too, know how awesome their students are. At some point this month, we will do our very first wheel of fortune drawing and I simply cannot wait! Again- THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,

Nourish & Thrive Fund: Wellness Center Snack Initiative
Funded Aug 14, 2024The students were very grateful to see the snacks. We were able to procure bins and organize them in a cabinet where they are able to see all of the options they have. A few students saw the boxes come in and our excitement, which caused them joy and excitement also. They were eager to see what was in the boxes.
Every day, we have had students come in asking for snacks and we have finally been able to say "yes, come take your pick". It has been very rewarding and touching to see them look in the pantry and be able to find something they like. We are excited to keep contributing to our pantry and to keep spreading the love and nourishment to our students. Thank you again. We could not have done this as quickly as we did without you.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Melanie Mendez
