Inclusive Sensory Supports for All Students

I am incredibly grateful for your generous support of my "Inclusive Sensory Supports for All Students" project! Thanks to your kindness, I was able to build a well-stocked sensory library that is now available to all staff on campus. As you can see from the photos, these resources are already making a meaningful difference for our students.

The impact has been incredible! The sensory library has supported not only our special education students but also those in general education who benefit from sensory regulation tools. Many items have been checked out, with fidgets and weighted blankets being the biggest successes so far. Teachers and staff have shared how these supports are helping students focus, self-regulate, and engage more effectively in the classroom.

Looking ahead, I hope to collaborate with our school occupational therapist to provide a staff in-service, ensuring that all educators understand how and when to incorporate these sensory tools into their classrooms effectively.
