Miss Newlon's Classroom Printer for World History & Personal Finance
Funded Oct 31, 2024Thank you for the incredible donation of an Epson Ecotank printer to my classroom. This technology has already transformed how my students learn and engage with our World History projects. For our most recent project, we could print high-quality images that brought their presentations to life and deepened their connection to the material. Beyond projects, the printer has allowed me to create colorful worksheets, bellringers, and bulletin board materials that foster a stronger sense of community in our classroom.
My students are especially excited by how their projects now look more polished and professional, giving them a sense of pride in their work. One student, who is usually more reserved, lit up while printing and assembling their project with vivid images—they couldn't wait to present it to the class! I'm also using the printer to enhance personal finance lessons, printing color-coded graphs, infographics, and spreadsheets to help students visualize concepts more clearly. Thanks to your donation, we now have a versatile tool that will elevate learning experiences across all subjects for years to come.”
With gratitude,

Miss Newlon’s Essentials Restock
Funded Sep 18, 2024Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors like you, my classroom is now stocked with essential items that will make a significant difference in the lives of my students. Donations of Expo markers, Sharpies, poster board, pencils, folders, tape, and personal hygiene items ensure that every student has what they need to succeed in class. These supplies allow us to continue engaging in project-based learning, bringing world history to life through creative and hands-on activities. Restocking hygiene products for our Needs Station also helps ensure that students feel cared for and supported, fostering a sense of belonging in our classroom.
In addition to classroom essentials, the donated Money Skills for Teens books will allow me to launch personal finance lessons during our intervention period. These books provide a valuable resource to teach students practical skills that will help them navigate real-world financial challenges. The impact of these donations is profound, as they empower my students to focus on learning, creativity, and personal growth without barriers. Thank you for making such a meaningful difference in my classroom and in the lives of my students!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Newlon
