Help a Diverse Set of Learners Engage in Math!

Thank you for your gift of supplies to help support my math students at Overland High School.

We have utilized the whiteboard markers and sticky notes for various activities, and the colored pencils help after testing when students need a creative outlet to stay busy and quiet while others complete working. Students are always in need of pencils, and it has been very helpful to always have pre-sharpened pencils available for them so they do not have to opt out of participating and learning. Additionally, things like browndages are so nice to have on hand for when my students are in need of a bandage. And the colored pens I received are used daily for grading and writing colorful answer keys to provide for students.

Simple supplies can be such a barrier to accessing content, and having them available for our students has made it so that they can participate in learning, regardless of what they are able to bring with them. Thank you so much for giving my students that opportunity.”
