  • Empowering Future Engineers

    Funded Dec 1, 2024

Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom! The new resources have truly made an incredible impact on my students and our learning environment.

When we first opened the materials, the excitement in the room was electric! One student said, "This is the coolest thing ever!" while others couldn't wait to dive in and explore. We used the resources to build our rockets and help explain Newton's Laws of Motion. Watching my students engage, collaborate, and learn in new ways was truly heartwarming.

Currently, we're working on applying the data we gathered to help build better and more efficient rockets. These resources have sparked curiosity and fostered teamwork, and I can't wait to see how they continue to inspire my students.

Thank you again for being a part of our journey and making this experience possible!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jasso

  • Empowering Future Innovators

    Funded Oct 30, 2024

I wanted to share how incorporating engineering concepts into our science curriculum has significantly impacted both my teaching approach and my students' learning experience. By integrating hands-on projects and problem-solving strategies from engineering, students have become more engaged and curious about the scientific principles underlying real-world applications.

For instance, when studying forces and motion in science class, the addition of engineering challenges like designing and testing bridges or vehicles allowed students to deepen their understanding through experimentation and iteration. This approach not only enhanced their grasp of scientific theories but also developed critical thinking, collaboration, and resilience.

The enthusiasm I've seen in my students as they tackle these interdisciplinary tasks is inspiring. They are more confident in their ability to apply knowledge creatively and are eager to explore connections between science, technology, and engineering in their future studies.

Thank you for supporting such a dynamic and integrative learning approach.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Jasso
