Game and Grow
Funded Aug 24, 2024I hope this message finds you well! I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your generous donation of board games and a personal laminator for our classroom. Your contributions have truly enhanced our students' learning experience.
On our recent club day, the students were thrilled to discover the variety of fun board games you provided. As they gathered around tables, laughter and excitement filled the room. The games have not only brought joy but also encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and friendly competition.
Additionally, the personal laminator has already proven to be an invaluable tool. I've been using it to create durable, engaging materials for our lessons. The students love seeing their work preserved, and it has inspired them to take greater pride in their projects.
Looking ahead, the board games will continue to be a staple during our club days, promoting social skills and collaboration among students. Meanwhile, I plan to use the laminator for upcoming projects, allowing students to create and display their work in new and exciting ways.
Thank you once again for your thoughtful donation. You've made a significant impact on our classroom environment, and my students are eager to continue learning and growing with these fantastic resources.”

Exploring the World With Comfort
Funded Aug 19, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation of pillows, books, and geography board games! These gifts have made a wonderful difference in our classroom, and I wanted to share a few stories of how they've impacted my students.
When my students first saw the cozy new pillows, their faces lit up! They quickly claimed spots on the pillows, grabbing books to settle in and read, making our reading time feel even more special. The pillows have become a highlight for independent reading, creating a comfortable space where students are more engaged and excited about reading.
The geography board games have brought an extra level of excitement to our world geography unit. Recently, we used the games to learn about world capitals and cultural landmarks. The students have been so enthusiastic, often diving into discussions sparked by the games and even sharing new facts they've discovered.
Looking ahead, we'll continue building on this geography unit, exploring various cultures and the connections between places around the world. The books you provided will be a valuable resource as students conduct research on their chosen countries, allowing them to dive deeper into the lives and traditions of the people they're studying.
Thank you again for your thoughtful contribution. You've truly brought joy and inspiration to our learning journey, and we're excited to continue exploring with these new resources.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Friesen
