  • Building a Library for Little Learners

    Funded Oct 7, 2024

    My students were ecstatic to hear that we were getting a whole new classroom library after the donation went through. Our whole school was happy for us as well! We couldn't wait to get our hands on some brand new books.

    When they arrived, we learned all about genre and practiced our skills by organizing our new library by genre! The students were able to go through each new book, collaborate with their group, label the book, and put it in its new home in our library. We had such a fun day with this! It really got our kiddos excited about discovering all that our new collection had to offer!

    Since receiving them, my students have had plenty of time daily to dive into a new read. I've really seen a huge difference in my students' motivation to read! We couldn't be more grateful for your support!

    I've included pictures of my kiddos enjoying the "Shine a Light" book series during our Funtastic Friday time. They ADORE these books! Thank you so much!”
