A First Year Teacher’s Essentials

My students and I are so grateful for your generosity. We use the materials every day in our classroom. I am able to lend out pencils when students forget to bring one to school. Additionally, we are able to make posters to demonstrate what we are learning. These posters are on the wall in our classroom, which instills pride in my students. Furthermore, the markers double as highlighters when we are annotating texts in class. Scissors and glue are used on art projects and other activities in class.

Overall, we are so lucky to have been gifted these. Especially because this is my first year as a teacher. The cost of these supplies was a lot and would have caused me a lot of stress if I had to buy these things by myself.”
