New Classroom, We Need Books and a Magnetic Whiteboard!

Just a little note to let you know that we appreciate your donation and we are completely thrilled to say that we have received all of the items on our wish list!

The magnetic white board has been a huge hit in the classroom. The children are using magnet letters, marble runs and markers for drawing pictures and practicing our letters. I love that every day I am able to write a welcome message to the children that we read during circle time. All of this great exposure to books, letters and writing is sure to get these kiddos on the road to early literacy.

They children all say thank you, they are excited to play with the new board and read the new books. It has been so much fun unboxing all of the goodies that have come in, it's been like Christmas in October! One of our favorite new books to read (everyday so far) is the giant Eric Carle book 'From Head to Toe', they love to act it out!
