Maximize Learning With Organizational Tools
Funded Dec 3, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation of organizational tubs for my first-grade students! These tubs have made an incredible impact on our daily routines and learning environment.
From the moment my students saw their new individual bins, their excitement was contagious! They eagerly placed their math, reading, and writing materials inside, along with their headphones, and quickly took ownership of their learning spaces. Now, instead of scrambling for supplies during transitions, they can focus on what truly matters—learning!
Having these organizational systems in place has transformed our classroom. Our transitions are smoother, instructional time has increased, and all students—especially those who need extra structure—are thriving in a more equitable and efficient learning space. Recently, during our writing workshop, I watched a student confidently grab their materials and dive into their work without hesitation. Moments like these remind me just how impactful your generosity is.
Next, we're diving deeper into independent and small-group learning, and these tubs ensure that each child has easy access to the tools they need to succeed. Your support has not only provided a physical resource but has also fostered independence, responsibility, and a love for learning in my students.
Thank you for making a difference in our classroom!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Griffith

Funded Jul 10, 2024I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share the incredible impact your generous support has had on my students and our classroom.
Since incorporating the STEM materials you provided, our mornings have transformed into vibrant, engaging sessions. One specific project that stands out was when my students teamed up to design and build a bridge using the Erector sets and STEM straws. The excitement in the room was palpable as they brainstormed their designs, collaborated, and faced the challenges of creating a stable structure. When they saw the materials for the first time, their eyes lit up with curiosity and enthusiasm. They couldn't wait to dive in and start experimenting!
Your support has not only equipped us with valuable resources but has also fostered a sense of ownership and creativity among my students. They are now more willing to take risks and learn from their failures, which is a vital part of the learning process.
Looking ahead, our next steps involve a collaborative project where students will design a city using the various building materials. They will plan out their city layout, decide on infrastructure, and present their creations to the class. This project will integrate concepts of teamwork, critical thinking, and engineering—all essential skills for their future.
Thank you once again for your kindness and support. Your contributions have truly made a difference, and I look forward to sharing more moments and successes with you in the future!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Griffith
I’m Back in the Classroom-But It’s EMPTY!
Funded Jul 1, 2024I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support of my classroom grant. As a 32-year veteran teacher returning to the classroom after many years as a professional development facilitator, I faced the challenge of starting fresh with absolutely no supplies. Your generosity has made a profound impact, allowing me to create a nurturing and resource-rich environment for my first graders, many of whom come from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
Thanks to your contributions, we now have not only a vibrant classroom library but also essential supplies like notebooks, crayons, and other learning materials. This has created a more equitable learning environment for my students, ensuring that everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive. Just last week, we launched a "Reading Adventure" project, where students eagerly explored our new books. Their reactions when they first saw the materials were priceless—wide eyes, gasps of excitement, and immediate chatter about which books they wanted to dive into first.
Looking ahead, our next steps involve diving deeper into the themes of the stories we read, as well as integrating hands-on activities using the supplies you helped provide. We'll be creating visual projects to illustrate the main ideas, helping students connect their reading to their own lives. I can't wait to share their creativity with you! Your support has not only equipped my classroom but also revitalized my passion for teaching. Thank you for believing in the importance of education and for your commitment to helping all students succeed.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Griffith
