  • Flexible Seating for 4th Graders

    Thanks to your generous support, our classroom was filled with excitement and curiosity the day the new resources arrived! The students' faces lit up as we unboxed the materials together—they couldn't believe that these tools were just for them. One student even exclaimed, "This feels like Christmas!"

    We've already put the resources to great use. Most recently, we used them during a hands-on STEM challenge where students had to design and build a structure to protect an "egg astronaut" during re-entry. Using the new materials, students worked collaboratively, tested their designs, and revised their plans using real-world problem-solving skills. It was incredible to see their creativity and resilience shine through!

    These tools are making lessons more engaging and allowing students to take more ownership over their learning. We're currently diving into a unit on forces and motion, and the next step is applying what we've learned to build small roller coasters using marbles. The new supplies will help make this project come to life.

    I cannot thank you enough for your generous contribution to our classroom's STEM materials. These resources have had a profound impact on my students, both during our lessons and even during their free time at recess.

    From the moment the boxes arrived, the excitement was palpable. The students' faces lit up when they saw the assortment of hands-on materials—building sets, kits, and other fun tools. They couldn't wait to dive in! One memorable moment occurred during our first project using the kits. The students were tasked with building their own simple machines, and within minutes, small groups were buzzing with creativity and collaboration. It was incredible to witness the way these materials encouraged problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

    But the impact of your donation doesn't stop with our structured lessons. The STEM materials have also become a huge hit during recess. Students are constantly challenging themselves to build taller towers, create new designs, or experiment with the physics of their designs—all while learning without even realizing it! What's particularly rewarding is watching how these activities have sparked new interests. Many students who were initially hesitant about science and engineering are now diving in with enthusiasm and confidence.

    Your generosity has opened doors for my students, allowing them to explore STEM in ways that are engaging, fun, and deeply educational.
