I wanted to say how immensely grateful I and my class are for your generosity! I have twice as many students as I originally expected so the supplies you provided have been beneficial in meeting their sensory and academic needs. Each of the materials has been exciting to introduce to my students and are asked for daily!

I have utilized the weighted stuffed animals, trampoline, and snacks to help meet my students' sensory needs. Better regulation has led to increased attention and engagement during lessons. I work with students on the spectrum who are non-speaking with a variety of sensory needs that they sometimes struggle to communicate. The materials you provided have helped me to better meet those needs. I have utilized the Color Monster book to help my students better identify and articulate their emotions. We are reading through the other books little by little which will help them to understand their minds as neurodiverse individuals better. We are also learning about exceptional black men and women that will inspire my students. Thank you again for your generosity!”
