Let Science Rise in 2025 All the Way to State

It is with extreme gratitude that I write to you today. As I received my requested supplies, I realized how important your mission is in my students lives.

As the supplies arrived, I unpacked them with students present. Curious as most six graders are, they questioned every item and when it would be used. I took the opportunity to let them know about donors choose and your generous contributions. The statement that impacted me the most was, "But they don't even know us', and one girl answered, "Maybe someday they will and we can say thank you again".

About 2 weeks ago, we worked on a simple STEM lab. The students needed to design a tall tower that would support a tennis ball for 10 seconds. They used paper, popsicle sticks and tape in their investigation, most of which was provided through Donors Choose. In the following weeks the students and I will be working on choosing science fair projects topics. A lot of the materials we received will be put to good use as we work towards the science fair. Again, from my students and myself, our most sincere thanks.”
