Students use the space to read books by themselves or with others. This space has really helped me welcome parents to classroom and have kids play and enjoy looking at books and toys available to them as I have conversation with parents during conferences. I have had really good compliments of how the furniture gives them a home like environment feeling. Children are able to select what to play with like color, match numbers with dices, use magnet connectors, or just look at a book of choice. Children and parents really enjoy using material during our meetings. I am so grateful for your contribution you have given me to make my vision of home like feeling corner a reality to have in my classroom. The next project is just collecting more books to have available and be able to give a book to a family in need or let borrow to read with their child at home each week.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Delgado
