Project Snack
Funded Dec 31, 2024Thank you so much for your support!! I am so excited to have snacks to offer to students in January! This is an ongoing passion project for me. Students thrive when I can have a snack for them at a moments notice, and some students depend on me for help supplementing their school lunches!!”

Project Snack
Funded Oct 31, 2024I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for the generous teacher grant that I recently received for providing snacks to my students. Your support means so much to me and to the children I work with.
Having snacks available during the school day has made a significant difference in the classroom environment. Many of my students arrive at school without having had a proper breakfast, and having a healthy snack available helps them stay focused, energized, and ready to learn. This grant not only supports their physical needs but also boosts their emotional well-being, as it shows them that someone cares about their success and comfort.
Thank you for investing in the growth and development of my students. Your generosity will have a lasting impact, and I am grateful for your belief in the importance of nurturing both minds and bodies. Please know that your support is truly appreciated, and I will continue to use these resources to help create the best learning environment possible for my students.
Thank you once again for your kindness and for making a positive difference in our school community.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Porter
Project Snack
Funded Oct 3, 2024Thank you so much for your contributions to this amazing cause!! Our community, school, students, and teachers thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We want desperately to be able to provide a snack to every student that needs one, every day, no exceptions. This feat can be quite difficult. In middle school, parents typically stop sending things like snacks to school. However, we all know students in the middle grades may have the biggest appetites out of anyone. These snacks help bridge the gap in between meals and through this time when students are still so dependent on adults for everything they need.
Over the course of this project, students have started to expect access to snacks when they need them. Therefore, the pressure to provide the snacks increases with each completed project. Students deserve to not only "survive" at school, but also to "thrive." My Project Snack mission moves forward to ensure nutritional support for every student, every time, every class.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Porter
Project Snack
Funded Jul 1, 2024This project greatly helped our students at Pinkston Middle School. Our students engage in a large amount of physical activities and movement. These snacks provided supplemental nutrition for students in many different situations. Some students could not afford the snacks, and others did not have enough to eat planned for the day. All students from every walk of life enjoyed the access to these snacks.
Students looked forward to coming to my class because the snacks helped me build a better relationship with them. The act of feeding students is an act of service, and this act of service helped students to know that I care about more than just their education. I CARE ABOUT THEM!!
I am so overwhelmingly grateful for the support from this grant! The happy looks on hungry kids' faces is why I will keep advocating for nutritional support through snacks. Happy kids=Happy parents= Happy teachers”
With gratitude,
Ms. Porter
