Help Fund Our Title I Preschool ASD Classroom

The resources funded for our classroom have greatly impacted our students ability to explore and grow as hands on learners. As their special education teacher, having access to high quality materials to support student STEM and active engagement has been life changing. Prior to project funding, I was spending my weekends searching for materials on free sites and buying what I could to help support student learning. I truly cannot thank you enough.

Our classroom favorites have been the dress up costumes and magnetic building blocks. When these materials were first presented, both my morning and afternoon classroom students, were so happy and thankful. They all went directly to our block and housekeeping centers and worked on turn taking and following directions. As their teacher, I was so happy to see the increase in their engagement levels. These students rarely have access to new, unused materials. Other favorites were the math games and sensory sand. As a special education teacher in an underfunded title 1 school, I am so grateful for donors like yourself. I often worry about equity for my students and other students in underfunded communities. Your donation has helped to level the playing field for my students. Thank you so very much.”
