Creating a Calm Classroom

Thank you so much for supporting my Donorschoose project, "Creating a Calm Classroom." My classroom is such a more positive space due to the supplies! The lighting and diffuser create a tranquil environment that always smells great! Students love that the overheard lights can be turned off daily due to the many smaller lights provided by the project. Other resources, like the digital clock and window markers, have helped students easily navigate the classroom and make it feel like their own.

Additionally, the snacks provided by the project have been an invaluable resource for students who have not eaten breakfast or who come to lunch tutoring! It is great to be able to easily provide snacks for students to help them focus on their learning.

I am grateful for the commitment to support teen mental health. These resources help transform classrooms into spaces students can fully enjoy being in!”
