Geometry Tools for Under Funded Schools!
Funded Dec 31, 2024Thanks to your generosity, our classroom has been transformed into an exciting hub for hands-on learning. These new geometry tools are making a world of difference! From protractors and compasses to straightedges and angle rulers, my students are now able to engage deeply with geometry in ways they never could before.
How We're Using the Resources
One memorable project involved designing a miniature city. Students worked in teams to create blueprints of roads, parks, and buildings using their geometry tools. This project not only honed their measurement skills but also sparked creativity and collaboration. Watching them enthusiastically measure angles, draw circles, and calculate dimensions was inspiring!
Student Reactions
When the materials arrived, the students were overjoyed. Many had never used high-quality geometry tools before, and they were excited to explore them. I remember one student saying, "This makes me feel like a real architect!" That moment captured exactly what your contribution has done—it's given them confidence and excitement to learn.
Next Steps
Currently, we're working on a unit about tessellations and symmetry. With their new tools, students will create personal artwork using geometric patterns. The project will not only reinforce key concepts but also allow them to express their artistic talents.
Thanks to your support, learning geometry has become interactive, engaging, and fun. You've given my students tools to succeed—not just in math, but in problem-solving and creativity. We're so grateful for your belief in us!”

Calculators for Underfunded School
Funded Jun 1, 2024The calculators are going to help students throughout the year. We do many calculations such as sin, cos, tan which are required to do trigonometry.
These calculators also help our algebra students those & those who don't have the capability to do difficult multiplication. With the cut in funding to public schools its been hard to replace broken, lost or stolen calculators.
Thank you to the donors who make this possible. Without you these kids would feel lost and frustrated but not they can feel accomplished!”
With gratitude,
Mr. Moro
