A Color Printer to Add Color Into Our Class!
Funded Mar 27, 2024Thank you for your kind and generous support! Our second graders love our new color printer and ink supply. We are amazed at the beautiful possibilities this new printer provides. I am so excited to have this printer in my classroom finally. As bilingual students, it is important to use color to differentiate language and to have exciting visuals to help with language acquisition. My students are able to print their work and show off what they have accomplished. I have also printed materials to send home to support their learning at home.
Upon the printer's arrival, our students were brimming with excitement, eager to start drafting their writing and printing their projects. The color printer has allowed them to print their pictures, which they proudly added to the books they wrote and published. The absence of a working classroom printer had previously limited their opportunities to visually experience printing their colorful work. Now, with our new printer, they are all eager and motivated to complete their writing and projects.
The impact of this printer on my students has been profound. They now know that as soon as their work is completed, they can print and display it in our writing gallery. The Wi-Fi feature has further accelerated this process, allowing all students to see their projects come to life faster. As a first-year teacher last year, I lacked the resources to fully support my students. This printer has not only helped me become a better teacher but will also continue to meet all of my students' needs.
This color printer, a result of your generous support, will be a permanent fixture in my classroom. I requested this printer because my students, as English Language Learners, benefit greatly from colored visuals that support their learning. Your contribution has made a lasting impact on their education.
I can't thank you enough for supporting my classroom and helping my students!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Aguirre
