Cooking Club Supplies and Supplements

This Fall Semester has been an incredible time for the Cooking Club. We have covered an extensive range of pastas -- and even tried our hand at making our own -- a menu of different egg-based recipes, and are now plan to work through a number of widely popular dishes, including butter paneer and crispy tofu bowls. Additionally, we've watched the best cooking show in the world (Masterchef: Australia) for inspiration and motivation to try our best no matter the ingredients life gives us.

Your support in funding the hot plates and cooking equipment has been instrumental in all the fun, joy, and cooking we have been able to do this year. The students were so excited to get their own notebooks to write recipes in. They fell in love with the griddles. And some students have already begun cooking at home with a much greater consistency, trying new ingredients and spices that I have been able to provide now that the equipment concerns have been covered.

Every session that we have, we use the equipment you all have kindly donated. Every session, we find new reasons to be grateful, and to make the most of the opportunities you all have given us. I speak for everyone in our cooking club when I say, from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You!”
