Funded Feb 29, 2024The materials we were able to order, thanks to your generous donations, have made such a difference for our students! We were able to target self-regulation through lessons as well as using the sensory room as a calm space for students who needed a break. This room was used frequently in the spring and was a valuable tool in helping students to manage their own emotions so that they could fully participate in class.
We had a few students who actually scheduled breaks daily so that they could regulate their bodies throughout the day. This limited the time they needed to spend out of class/ school due to behaviors and dysregulation. Thank you so much!”
