  • A Little Extra Help!

    Thank you for the blessing of the items that I received that have been a success in my classroom. When my students saw the snacks, they were all excited that they would have something yummy to eat before heading for sometimes a long bus ride home. The classroom manipulatives have also been a huge success!

    My next step is to use the manipulatives to assist my students with math and language arts, and the snacks as both a reinforcer for staying on task and to provide to my students who have a long time to wait before they arrive home for a snack or sometimes just in time for dinner!   • It's Time for ESE to Soar!

    I cannot express how grateful I am to receive such a blessing. All of the resources that I requested have been instrumental in helping my class run smoothly, especially with the population of ESE students that I teach.

    The visuals that I was able to put on the wall have helped with calming my students down when they get frustrated, and the manipulatives have been the key to start implementing independent work at their desks!

    Every time I pulled something else out of the box, my students became very excited and could not wait to see what I would open next! Thank you for helping me start this school year with joy and love!”

  • Grumbly Tummies No More

    Funded Feb 22, 2024

    My students loved the snacks that were funded for my classroom! They all had a hard time choosing which snack they wanted to try first, and were excited to try foods that only half of my students tried before. I used the resources to fill my student's grumbly tummies at snack time at the end of the school day, as two-thirds of my students ride a bus that takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to get them home.

    My next steps are to continue to provide a wholesome snack to my kiddos since they were so excited, and to vary the snacks so that my students can continue to try food items that they have never tried before. I can't wait for the next school year to start, and I feel so blessed to have Donors Choose and the donors that funded my project! Thank you!”
