Magnetic Fun for Preschoolers
Funded Dec 31, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation of magnetic boards, farm animal magnets, shape and letter magnets, and sensory-based magnetic gears. These resources have brought so much joy and excitement to our special education preschool classroom! Our students are absolutely captivated by the materials, and it has been amazing to watch them engage with these tools in creative and meaningful ways.
When the new materials arrived, the students were immediately drawn to the vibrant colors and fun textures. Though they are non-verbal, their wide eyes, bright smiles, and excited movements said it all. It was heartwarming to see them exploring the magnets together, experimenting with building patterns, connecting gears, and making animal sounds during play. One unforgettable moment was when two students, who often prefer to work independently, began collaborating to spin the gears and match the magnets on the board—an unprompted display of teamwork that left us all smiling.
These materials have quickly become a favorite in our classroom and are supporting both sensory exploration and early academic skills like recognizing shapes, letters, and animals. Moving forward, we're incorporating the magnets into our lessons on communication and fine motor development. Your thoughtful contribution has enriched our classroom environment, giving our students new opportunities to learn, play, and grow.
Thank you again for your kindness and support. We are so grateful to have people like you cheering us on!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Butler

Funded Sep 18, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation of wipes, hand sanitizer, and cleaning products for our special education preschool classroom. These resources are essential in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our young learners, many of whom are non-verbal and rely on structured routines to feel secure. Your support allows us to prioritize their health and comfort, giving them the best possible setting to explore, grow, and engage with the world around them.
When the supplies arrived, the students were curious and excited as we unpacked them together. The donation provided an opportunity to incorporate a hands-on lesson about hygiene, with the students practicing wiping surfaces and cleaning their hands as part of their daily routine. These activities help build their independence and reinforce critical life skills.
Your generosity is making a profound impact on our classroom. Not only does it keep us safe and healthy, but it also allows our students to focus on their learning goals, from sensory exploration to developing communication and self-help skills. We are so grateful for your kindness and look forward to sharing more about the progress and joy your support has brought to our students.”

Funded Mar 24, 2024I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous contributions to our special education preschool classroom. Thanks to your support, we have been able to add sensory toys and a water table to our classroom, creating an enriching environment that has already made a significant impact on our students.
The introduction of these sensory tools has been a game-changer. Sensory play is crucial for our students, especially those with life skills needs, as it helps them learn to manage their feelings and fosters positive interactions with others. The water table, in particular, has become a favorite. One of my students, who loves playing with water, now has the opportunity to explore this interest safely without the worry of making a mess. The joy and excitement on the faces of my students as they engage with these new materials have been truly heartwarming.
These new resources have not only enhanced our daily activities but also encouraged teamwork and cooperation among the children. It's wonderful to see them working together, sharing, and learning through play in such a hands-on and engaging way.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Butler
