Go Wild Science Child!
Funded Feb 3, 2024The words "Thank you" do not quite seem like enough to show our gratitude for your generous donation. Our project, "Go Wild Science Child", started as an outdoor STEM project for our 5th grade but because of your support, will turn into an outdoor classroom that every teacher and every class on our campus can utilize for years to come.
Our school houses over one thousand 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. Because our 5th graders are our "Seniors", they get to build the classroom and each 5th grade class gets to "leave their legacy" for future 5th graders by adding to the space. The area where the classroom stands serves as a hands-on science lab full of science tools that align with the state science standards, a garden with vegetables and flowers, a reading garden, recycling area, and a sensory area with a sensory garden and a sensory wall. The students are so proud to be a part of this project.
Thank you for your donation and for investing in our students!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Norris
