Thank you so much for contributing to Mountain Elementary's School Chess Club! Because of your generous donations, our students have been able to learn the art of chess and can now actively participate in local chess tournaments with other schools. This student led team has grown from just a few students trying to play with a handful of old boards scrapped together to a fully functioning club that meets weekly. The peer leadership I have witnessed and the joy on their faces when they received official timers, handbooks and beautiful new chess boards was priceless. I am excited to witness their growth as they challenge themselves to learn new skills and build a sense of community. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!”
