Cricut Machine for Everyone

Myself and the students cannot thank you enough for your generosity. With this donation we were able to have our vision come through. At the beginning of the school year we talk about ourselves. Students fill out ALL ABOUT ME posters then we review in them in class. After that unit is complete we move into a unit about FEELINGS. This is where our project came to view.

We read the book "Color Monster" by Anna Llenas. Students really related to the monsters and their feelings. To show students that their feelings have values we decided to make Monster jars and put matching color objects in the jars when we feel a certain way.

Making these colorful jars also helped the students with color recognition. Each day during our morning meeting students took turns talking about how they felt and why (if they could). Then they chose the a colored object that matched their feeling. As time went on they noticed how some jars are filling up more than others. Which then turned into a math lesson. The students growth has been phenomenal with this project and it is all THANKS to you!!!”
