    I want to Thank You All for donating to my project. The children were so excited to receive the new art materials that they could not wait to use them. I firmly believe that exposing students the the arts helps with their ability to express themselves artistically and creativity.

    The students used the materials to create their own version of a Georgia O'Keefe beautiful skull paintings. The classroom was filled with laughter and creativity during the 2 weeks working on their paintings.

  • Children's Cozy Carpets

    I want to personally thank you for the wonderful donation of the two large area rugs to my classroom. They have enhanced our learning area so much and the students have collaborated many times while sitting on them.

    Many discussions have taken place in small groups on them while discussing current events taking place in our world and how to help those affected by the hurricanes and or tornados in our areas. We live on the outskirts of Tornado Alley and we have experienced many of these due to climate change. By funding this project you have allowed me to facilitate many discussions with the students.
