  • Scientific Calculators for Students Who Have Difficulty Doing Basic Calculations.

    Having a full class set of scientific calculators for all of my five classes has made it so much easier for students to perform tedious calculations. With these calculators students are able to perform basic calculations involving integers, fractions, percents, etc. and are able to calculate exponents, logarithims, trigonometric and inverse functions, find square roots, and angles in both degree and radian mode.

    Several students who do not own a calculator have the opportunity to learn and use the various functions needed to perform complex calculations. Having these calculators especially during assessments is essential. My students and I are thankful for your scientific calculator donation which came at a time when our budget was short.”

  • TI-84 Graphing Calculators

    Funded Feb 5, 2024

    Receiving a set of TI-84 Graphing Calculators from you has given my students a hands on opportunity to enhance the learning process of various concepts in areas of Algebra and Precalculus. With the TI-84, students are able to enter various equations and functions. This allows them the opportunity to instantly see the data and graphs displayed allowing them to make connections quicker than doing it by hand. Complex calculations are simplified which has improved efficiency. This has also given many students who cannot afford to buy their own TI-84 calculators an opportunity to use the various functions in class as a helpful tool to make inferences and validate their work.”
