Gliding on Screens to Make Dreams
Funded May 15, 2024We have had our students here in our K 12 school, specifically, our 6th- 8th-grade levels take a liking to our supply of stylus to add as an additional feature to using their iPads. Here in our charter school, we provide middle school students iPads for students to complete our online curriculum, and sometimes by the touch of the finger it can only do so much.
We have had students use these tools to provide additional mobility support when designing slideshows, sliding through their i-Ready lessons, and following along with the precision of the stylus point. All this has come in handy to them, and it is amazing to see one student share their new instrument and more come and ask if they can utilize one.”

Funded Feb 13, 2024I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for your generous donation towards providing snacks for our students during the school day. Your contribution has made a significant impact on our students' well-being, and we cannot thank you enough.
Many of our students come from low-income families and struggle to afford nutritious meals throughout the day. With your donation, we were able to provide healthy snacks to our students, which not only helped them stay focused and energized during class but also boosted their morale and sense of belonging in our school community.
Your generosity has made a tremendous difference in the lives of our students, and we are honored to have such a compassionate and supportive partner in our mission to provide quality education to all. We hope to continue this partnership and make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
Once again, thank you for your kindness and support.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ibarra JR.
This classroom project was brought to life by Salesforce.A Welcoming World of Tech
Funded Jan 8, 2024We were able to ensure students were able to achieve more in device use with their school devices. Whether it's for preference for using a computer mouse rather than the trackpad on their Chromebooks. As well as our middle schoolers are given the chance to earn perhaps a stylus as it might be easier with a pen-like agility to use. We wanted to give a space for students to feel welcome and have a chance to redeem a prize.
We use the PBIS Reward system where students are given the chance to gain points for either showing our MATER 5, Mindset, Accountability, Teamwork, Engage, or Respect. With these points earned, they can use them in our PBIS stores where we gift them prizes depending on points.
So far, we had the styluses that were a big help to these students they were shocked at how these were better than most styluses we have. We have students who also helped themselves in that corner shelf where they have technology wipes to clean their device surface which is nice.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Ibarra JR.
