Funded Jan 7, 2024Thank you for supporting my classroom and my students! Last year, my classroom had shared digital scales with another 5th grade science classroom. It was challenging to be teaching the same lessons and doing the same labs as my content teacher when we both needed digital scales at the same time. It was tough navigating when each other us would be doing the same lab because we didn't have enough materials to go around.
These digital scales will take care of this problem for this year's upcoming science labs. We have used these scales for laboratory experiments involving the law of conservation of matter, and measuring how much sediment is produced from different types of rocks. These digital scales play an important role in our science experiments. These experiments have helped my students develop a greater understanding for the content they are learning. These activities allow my students to think creatively, explore new ideas, and work collaboratively with their peers.”
With gratitude,
