Snacking While We Learn!
Funded Feb 5, 2025Thank you so very much for all the contributions for our class. The children, teachers and I are very thankful for all of the snacks that we were able to receive for our classroom. Most of our children thrive on food to get them through their day and help them focus on all daily lessons and activities.
Many of our children also come from low-income families and also receive free lunch here. We all do our best and try to provide as much as possible a variety of snacks most of the time but with the cost of food on the rise still, it becomes difficult at times to do so. Everything that we receive is much appreciated.
Thank you for all you do for our special education class.”
With gratitude,

Our World Is Learning Through Creativity and Fun
Funded Jul 31, 2024I appreciate the impact that it has made on my class , they appreciate all of the materials that came that they were able to utilize during arts and crafts, seating for our lessons, also the snacks provided for our snack time.
I am hopeful that we will be able to provide many photos to share with everyone to see the smiles that have been brought to their faces to have these items available to them.
We have been blessed to have had so many amazing donors provide for our classroom and also continue to show support to our children each year. We are very grateful for everything you have done for us.”

Funded Jan 6, 2024Thank you so very much for providing the opportunity for our students to have new materials to be able to use in the classroom. Our classroom is a therapeutic emotional support class therefore most of everything we use in here does provide some kind of calming and stress relief and a way to express themselves and be creative.
Recently we have used our trays as a way to keep all of our projects together, and also allows easy access to finish these projects as a grab and go when other academics have been completed. The trays have also served as a multi-purpose for personal playdough bins- all labeled with their names. We have utilized the playdough and tools to serve as a purpose to give each student the ability to be responsible for their own trays with the materials which serve the purpose as their go-to as a quiet activity at their desk.
We also want to thank our donors for our classroom snacks as food is a big part of motivation for many of our children keeping them fueled and satisfied.
Lastly, we are extremely thankful for the large arts and crafts caddy that we received which have allowed us to complete many of the activities for our holidays and everyday hands on. Our students enjoy the variety of materials it included and allowed them complete ways to be creative.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Tanya Mazar
