The snacks, chips, candies, and cookies have been more than just treats. They've been a way to celebrate their hard work, perseverance, and achievements. Whether reaching their reading goals, finishing strong in Quarter 3, or pushing themselves to do their best, these rewards have made a real difference.
But your kindness didn't stop there! The cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, and tissues have been just as valuable. In a busy middle school classroom, these essentials help keep us healthy and focused on learning. My students now have what they need to stay comfortable and cared for, and I have peace of mind knowing that our space is clean and well-stocked. It may seem like a small thing, but it truly makes a huge impact on our daily routines.
When my students first saw the stash of goodies and supplies, their faces absolutely lit up! Suddenly, they were even more determined to stay focused, participate, and put in the effort. One student excitedly said, "Wait... we actually get these?!" One student even said, "This makes me want to try even harder next time!" It was such a fun and rewarding moment to see their enthusiasm and sense of accomplishment. These small but meaningful incentives have created a positive energy in our classroom, reminding students that their hard work is seen and valued.
